Quick start

Set up your TorrX in minutes.

Charge it, turn it on, choose manual or auto mode, and start with a lubricated needle.

Charge first

  • TorrX ships with a low battery charge. Charge it for at least 2 hours before your first full use.

Turn TorrX on

  • Twist the cap clockwise.
  • Push up to expose the needle.
  • Twist counterclockwise to lock it in place.
  • The TorrX is ON when the three-digit display lights up.
  • Reverse those steps to close the cap and turn TorrX off.

Manual mode

  • MANUAL MODE is the factory start-up mode.
  • The display reads ‘00.0’ before the needle enters the ball.
  • Hold TorrX so your thumb can reach the buttons, then insert the needle.
  • The display will indicate the current ball pressure.
  • Press ‘+’ to inflate or ‘–’ to deflate.

Auto mode

  • Double-click the circular ‘A’ button.
  • The Target Pressure flashes and the green ‘A’ light turns on.
  • Use ‘+’ or ‘–’ to change the Target Pressure.
  • Press ‘A’ to start. TorrX will add or release air until it reaches the target, then beep three times.

Switch modes

  • Double-click the circular ‘A’ button to move between MANUAL MODE and AUTO MODE.
  • The green ‘A’ light shows when AUTO MODE is active.
  • Unless you change the default, TorrX returns to MANUAL MODE when it turns off.

Change default mode

  • Put TorrX in AUTO MODE.
  • Press and hold ‘+’ and the circular ‘A’ button together until TorrX beeps.
  • Repeat the same step to return the default mode to MANUAL.

Battery lights

  • The Battery Status light is above the ‘+’.
  • The light is GREEN if the battery is fully charged.
  • The light is BLINKING GREEN if the battery has a good operational charge.
  • The light will begin BLINKING RED when the battery needs to be charged.
  • The light will be SOLID RED when the battery is exhausted.

PSI or BAR

  • The default unit is PSI.
  • Press ‘+’ and ‘–’ together to switch to BAR.
  • Press them together again to return to PSI.
